Melanomas.
Descrição: cancer de peleIconografia Ml 81 -
Descoberto em seus estágios iniciais, o melanoma é quase sempre curável. Porém, se diagnosticado tardiamente, tende a se espalhar para outras partes do corpo em um processo chamado metástase. Ele é bem mais raro que os carcinomas baso e espinocelular, mas é uma doença bem mais grave. A cura desde tipo de câncer está ligada à descoberta precoce, seu diagnóstico é clínico, mas a biopsia é a forma de confirmação, além da dermatoscopia que também é um exame laboratorial.

A característica da mancha ou nódulo formado por este tipo de câncer, formato e bordas irregulares, médicos costumam comparar com um mapa geográfico de um território litorâneo, isso porque a intensidade da mancha pode variar pra mais clara e escura em certos pontos da mancha. Além de surgir sangramento, coceira e inflamação.
